Lian Li has launched its new EDGE series of platinum power supplies. These power supplies offer high wattage choices, making them suitable for powerful computer setups. They come in both black and white, with prices starting at about $111.
EDGE Series key features and design
The EDGE series has an L-shaped design, measuring 182 x 86 x 150 mm, and weighs around 1.75 kg. These power supplies are designed to fit easily within Lian Li’s popular O11 series computer cases, offering a cohesive look for those using Lian Li parts.
Each power supply is fully modular, meaning users can connect only the cables they need, helping to keep their setups neat and organized. The EDGE series meets the ATX 3.1 and PCIe 5.1 standards, which means it’s designed to work with the latest computer systems. The power supplies come with a new 16Pin (12V-2X6) connector and four USB connectors, making them compatible with Lian Li’s new “Building Block” fans.
Built with high-quality components
Inside, the EDGE series uses German EPCOS capacitors, known for their durability and stability. The power supplies also include a 120mm fan that keeps the unit cool. This fan has a fluid dynamic bearing, which allows it to adjust its speed based on temperature. The fan can reach up to 2000 rpm but stays quiet, with noise levels as low as 25.96 decibels.
