As Aerosoft is proud to announce, the new tram simulator TramSim by Austrian developer ViewApp is released today. TramSim is a next-gen traffic simulation that has players drive through the city centre of Vienna which has been reconstructed in the Unreal Engine down to the smallest detail. In the cockpit of the Flexity Tram, the new tram generation of the Vienna transport services, they will experience the Austrian capital from an extraordinary perspective.
TramSim is available on Steam and in the official Aerosoft shop at a price of approx. €35. The title is suitable for players of ages 3 and up as rated by PEGI. TramSim is available for PC (Windows ) and can be controlled by keyboard and game controller; VR support is also included.
Vienna is perfectly suited as a setting for TramSim because the city offers a lot of variety and allows players to enjoy impressive sights that are internationally popular.

In TramSim the players drive the Flexity Tram along the whole route of line 1 around the historic Vienna Ring Street while enjoying a fantastic view of impressive historical places, like the famous Vienna Opera or the Hundertwasser House. They transport up to 200 virtual passengers per tram set. ViewApp has recreated a total of almost 20 miles of Vienna’s tram rail network, paying close attention to all details, such as elevation or track geometry.
Various game modes such as open-world, regular service with timetable, level ranking or tram challenges provide variety. A special beginner mode makes it easier for less experienced players to get started in the game. Ambitious players can activate the controls for advanced and expert players to experience the role of the tram driver consistently realistically.
