Slots and Daggers mashes up slot machines with fantasy roguelike chaos. It’s loud, weird, and full of spinning reels, goblins, and old-school beats.
This is the latest from Future Friends Games, the team behind Summerhouse. But this new game? It’s nothing like it.
Solo dev Friedemann wanted to go wild after his last cosy project.
“After Summerhouse, I wanted something faster. With numbers, fights, and goblins,” he said. “So I mixed everything I love. Weird fantasy, scribbly drawings, hip hop drum loops, and arcade chaos. That became Slots and Daggers.”
The trailer shows exactly that. Slot reels clink and clash while crude little creatures stumble into battle.
The game feels like an arcade machine possessed. It’s rough, sketchy, and somehow charming. Every spin matters. Every coin drop counts.
Here’s what you’re getting in Slots and Daggers:
- Slot machines that choose your fate
- A strange fantasy world
- Crude drawings of odd little guys
- Retro pixel art
- Crunchy hip-hop beats
- Fights, numbers, goblins, and a lot of “pling”

There’s no exact release date yet. It’s just listed as “Coming Soon.” But it’s expected before the end of 2025.
You can wishlist Slots and Daggers on Steam now. If you like weird games that make noise and take risks, this one’s worth a spin.
