PlayStation has confirmed the PS Plus Essential games for August 2025. Lies of P leads the pack, and it’s the only one with a native PS5 version this month.
Subscribers can grab Lies of P, DayZ, and My Hero One’s Justice 2 starting August 5. That means you’ve got until August 4 to claim July’s games, Diablo IV, Jusant, and The King of Fighters XV.
Three genres in PS plus, one solid month
If you’ve been holding off on Lies of P, now’s a good time. The base game is included with your subscription, and the new DLC, Lies of P: Overture, just launched. If you like Bloodborne or anything FromSoftware, it’s worth a go.
DayZ offers a brutal online survival experience, where zombies are a problem, but other players are worse. And My Hero One’s Justice 2 brings anime-style 3D arena combat with the cast of My Hero Academia.
