Phantom Blade Zero release date set for world premiere at The Game Awards 2025

The release date for Phantom Blade Zero is finally on the horizon. S-GAME has confirmed that the Wuxia-inspired action title will reveal its launch date during The Game Awards 2025 on December 11.

The news came with a short teaser posted on X by the event organisers. It shows the protagonist calmly painting a Chinese dragon, which erupts into chaos at the end. No gameplay is shown, but fans can expect the full reveal at the world premiere.

Inside Phantom Blade Zero’s intense assassin action

Phantom Blade Zero was first announced in 2023. The game follows an elite assassin on a mission to find the killer of The Order’s patriarch. With its blend of fast-paced Soulslike combat and RPG mechanics, the game has already captured the attention of action fans worldwide. Earlier this year at the Future Games Show at Gamescom, director Soulframe Liang confirmed the release date would be shown before the end of 2025.

The Game Awards 2025 lineup is already stacked with major reveals from Resident Evil Requiem and Devil May Cry, plus a mysterious statue that’s caught the community’s curiosity. Now, Phantom Blade Zero joins the roster with at least one thing guaranteed: a concrete release date.

With 2026 already shaping up to be a packed year with Grand Theft Auto 6 and 007 First Light, S-GAME’s assassin-focused action title is definitely one to watch. Fans won’t want to miss this moment.
