Pax Dei is finally getting its full launch. Finnish developer Mainframe Industries and publisher New Tales confirmed that the social sandbox MMORPG leaves Early Access on October 16.

Pax Dei first hit Steam Early Access back on June 18, 2024. It picked up several updates, but player feedback has been rough. Steam reviews sit at just 54% Mixed. Recent scores are worse, dropping to 38%.
Founders get in early on October 14. They’ll also receive a free copy of the game to gift. But there’s a full reset coming. Everyone will start fresh with new characters and new servers.

Pax Dei is priced at $29.99 (£24) on Steam, Epic Games Store, and the official site. It’s also on GeForce NOW. On launch day, it will join PC Game Pass. The base package comes with two character slots and one month of Premium Membership. Premium adds a 50% XP boost, extra Grace, and lets you build your own home. After the free month, it costs $6.99 (£5.50) per month.
Mainframe already has updates planned. Verse 5 arrives this Winter with Feudal Shrines, bringing clan battles over control points. Verse 6 will follow with Feudal Alliances. In 2026, the studio aims to expand the Grace system and the in-game economy.
