Ryu Hayabusa is back, armed with fresh abilities and old favourites, while combat can be customised to match your playstyle. The game is designed to push veterans to their limits while still offering an accessible, action-heavy adventure for newcomers.

New story, new hero in Ninja Gaiden 4
The story takes place in near-future Tokyo, now covered by a dark mist after the return of an ancient enemy. A young ninja named Yakumo must fight robot assassins and twisted creatures, uncovering his connection to Ryu and facing a destiny tied to saving the city from an ancient curse.
The game runs on the Platinum Engine and will launch on PC on 21 October. Microsoft hasn’t revealed PC specs yet, and there are concerns given Platinum’s shaky PC history with titles like NieR: Automata and The Wonderful 101 Remastered.
Microsoft will officially drop the trailer during Gamescom ONL later today – until then, catch it before it disappears.
