Monster Hunter Wilds Guild Reports recap: Capcom responds to feedback, but PC issues remain

Since the launch of Monster Hunter Wilds, the development team at Capcom has been actively engaging with the player community through a series of “Guild Reports.” I wrote about the first ones as they came out over at ninjarefinery.com

Somehow, in no time at all, the team at Capcom have been providing more Guild Reports at a rate of knots!

These Guild Reports, shared via the official Monster Hunter Twitter account and subsequently archived and discussed by the fan community, provide players with insights into upcoming changes, responses to feedback, and general improvements being made to the game.

Still not a massive amount of movement on the PC performance issues, but something is better than nothing, and the transparency from Capcom is appreciated, for sure.

Guild reports: Quality of life and performance

The first batch of Guild Reports, released in late June and early July 2025, addressed some of the most pressing community concerns following the game’s launch.

Mid-July updates

As July progressed, the Guild Reports continued to detail a variety of enhancements aimed at improving the overall gameplay experience.

End of July reports

The most recent Guild Reports at the time of this writing tackled the challenging end-game content.

Transparency

These are all quality of life fixes and proof that Capcom are listening to players. Whether or not they’re ultimately enough to appease the broader fanbase, I’m not sure.

Content is coming at a good pace, with monsters, quests, events, etc., nicely mapped out and drip-fed. However, if they don’t address the PC performance issues, it could all be for nothing.

The Steam rating is currently showing as “Mostly Negative” based on recent reviews, which is a less-than-ideal position to be in, unfortunately.
