Logitech G522 gaming headset launches with better sound, soft comfort, and wireless freedom

Logitech has released the new Logitech G522 Gaming Headset, made for players who want great performance, style, and all-day comfort. It’s the latest model in the G5 Series and brings useful upgrades based on what gamers need most.

“G522 was made for gamers who bring passion and personality to everything they do,” said Ujesh Desai, Vice President and General Manager at Logitech G. “If you’re aiming high in ranked games, streaming online, or gaming all night, the G522 gives you the tools to play better and look good doing it.”

The G522 builds on the well-known G733 headset but takes the design a step further. It still looks familiar, but it now has smoother lines, a more modern shape, and small changes that make it feel fresh and new. Instead of sharp corners, the headset now has a cleaner, softer look.

Ahmed Riaz, Head of Design at Logitech G, explained, “Every part of the G522 was made with care. It mixes our trusted technology with a modern look and a focus on comfort.”

Logitech G worked with the gaming community to make the G522 more comfortable for long sessions. The ear cups are now wider, with extra memory foam and a new fabric that is softer and stronger. The top band has been updated too—it now sits better on the head and has small ridges to let air through. It also works well for people who wear glasses or earrings.

The sound quality is also improved. The Logitech G522 uses new PRO-G drivers and 48 kHz/24-bit digital signal processing. This gives very clear sound so gamers can hear small things like footsteps or enemy reloads easily.

For voice chat, the 48 kHz/16-bit microphone uses BLUE VO!CE to make sure your voice sounds clean and sharp. You can also change how your voice sounds using filters and effects.

The Logitech G522 is very flexible thanks to tri-mode connectivity. You can switch between LIGHTSPEED wireless, Bluetooth, and USB-C easily. This makes it perfect for using on a PC, game console, or phone without delay.

With the G HUB software and Logitech G mobile app, users can control sound with a 10-band EQ, adjust the mic, change RGB lighting, and save up to three profiles straight to the headset.

Logitech has also focused on the environment. The G522 uses 27% post-consumer recycled plastic and low-carbon aluminium, helping reduce its impact on the planet.
