A hardcore survival experience

Deadside combines fast-paced survival mechanics with open-world exploration. Players can gather loot, build bases, and secure gear in safe zones. Travel is flexible, with cars, motorcycles, boats, and even a Quick Travel metro system. The game features both PvP and PvE servers, letting players choose between intense combat, cooperative survival, or a mix of both.

Combat, raids, and base building

PvP servers allow for full-scale base raids, while PvE servers focus on exploration and NPC encounters. A third option, PvP No Raids, enables player combat without base destruction.

Base building is streamlined with an intuitive system, offering both functional and decorative upgrades. Players can reinforce their hideouts with turrets and traps, store vehicles, and boost stats with comfort items.

Weapons, missions, and exploration

Deadside ditches RPG-style levels in favour of skill-based progression. With 32 firearms and a range of modifications—including scopes, silencers, and extended mags—combat is dynamic and unforgiving. Tactical tools like tripwires, smoke grenades, and respawn bags add depth to firefights.

Set in a post-Soviet wasteland, the world is filled with rivers, forests, and settlements, all patrolled by challenging NPCs. Missions are clearly marked on the map, offering structured objectives within the hardcore survival sandbox.
