At Computex 2025, Acer made headlines by introducing the Nitro PG271K, a powerful and portable 27-inch gaming monitor. Unlike regular portable monitors that focus on basic productivity, this one pushes the limits with serious specs made for both gamers and content creators.

The Nitro PG271K gives you two display options depending on your needs. If you want sharp visuals, you can use the monitor at 4K resolution (3,840 x 2,160 pixels) with a 72Hz refresh rate—perfect for photo editing, video work, and general multimedia use. If smoother gameplay is your priority, switching to Full HD (1,920 x 1,080 pixels) boosts the refresh rate to a fast 144Hz, ideal for competitive gaming.

This monitor features a 27-inch Fast IPS panel with a quick 1ms response time. Colour accuracy is impressive too, covering 95% of the DCI-P3 colour space. The panel also delivers a 250-nit peak brightness and a high contrast ratio of 100,000,000:1, offering vibrant colours and clear images.

Acer has also added more connectivity than most portable monitors. The PG271K comes with two USB-C ports, an HDMI 2.0 input, a headphone jack, and even a pair of built-in 2W speakers. It includes a stand that supports vertical positioning, and it’s compatible with 100mm VESA mounts if you want to attach it to an arm or wall.

While Acer hasn’t shared the exact weight yet, it’s expected to be around 800 grams based on similar models. That keeps it light enough to carry in a backpack while still offering a full-sized display experience on the go.

Acer Nitro PG271K pricing and availability

The Acer Nitro PG271K will be available soon in Spain at a price of €499. With its mix of portability, 4K resolution, fast refresh rates, and excellent connectivity, it’s a great option for those who need high-quality visuals and gaming speed wherever they are.
