The anti-tamper tech continues to split opinions, but neither publisher seems ready to walk away from it. Yes, they’ve removed Denuvo from older games like Tekken 7, Two Point Hospital, and Sonic Mania. But newer titles usually keep it locked in. For example, Yakuza: Like a Dragon (2020) and the first Code Vein (2019) still carry it to this day. Don’t expect a quick removal here.

Yakuza Kiwami 3 is more than just a remaster. The remake rebuilds the third entry with sharper visuals, tighter combat, and added story scenes for extra depth. You’ll split your time between Okinawa and Tokyo, while fresh side content keeps you busy away from the main drama.

Meanwhile, Code Vein 2 doubles down on anime Souls-like action. Set in a collapsing future, you take the role of a Revenant Hunter fighting across two timelines.

Code Vein 2 launches on 30 January 2026. Yakuza Kiwami 3 follows on 11 February 2026.

Stay tuned, this is only the beginning.
