Wolfenstein 3 casting call hints at emotional new story twist

It looks like Wolfenstein 3 might finally be moving forward. And this time, the story could feel more personal than ever.

A recent casting call, reportedly linked to the project under the codename “Valkyrie”, has surfaced online. Two familiar names are attached: performance director Tom Keegan and casting director Emily Schweber. Keegan previously worked on Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, so this is not a small team.

The most interesting part, though, is the story tease.

Wolfenstein 3 may introduce a powerful new character

According to the report, the plot centres on a young Ukrainian girl named Sofiya. She is said to be between 8 and 11 years old. An orphan. Traumatised by war. Careful and suspicious of the world around her.

But she is also described as strong. A survivor.

She reportedly forms a bond with William Blazkowicz. That alone suggests a different tone for Wolfenstein 3. Less just bullets and chaos. More heart. More character depth.

Performance capture is planned to begin in April. Shooting is expected later in 2026 and into next year. That signals serious progress.

MachineGames has already made it clear they are not done with this series. Studio director Jerk Gustafsson recently said they always planned to continue.

There is still no official reveal. But if this casting call is real, the final chapter of the trilogy may not be far away.
