Epictellers Entertainment is bringing Starfinder: Afterlight to Steam in early access next year. It’s a brand-new turn-based RPG set in the Starfinder universe, developed in collaboration with Starfinder creators Paizo, but fully led and published by Epictellers.
You can also sign up for its Kickstarter campaign right now if you want to get involved early. It’s a great way to stay close to the project and maybe even shape its development. Take a look at;
Afterlight Official Teaser Trailer
This is the first time the second edition Starfinder ruleset will appear in a video game. Expect new characters with unique stories, a full party of six companions, and strategic, class-based combat. The game includes soldier, envoy, operative, mystic, solarian, and witchwarper roles to build your squad.

Choices, companions, and a galaxy to explore
You’ll explore different planets and locations in the Starfinder galaxy. The campaign will be story-heavy, with branching choices that affect how your journey unfolds.
Epictellers CEO Ricard Pillosu shared that the game is built to bring Starfinder fans together in a fresh adventure:
“This marks the beginning of a journey we want to take alongside Starfinder fans everywhere.”
Paizo’s Erik Mona also praised the collaboration, calling the universe “rich, vast, and beloved” and confirming that Epictellers is the right team to expand the story.
In a surprise highlight, Baldur’s Gate 3 star Neil Newbon is directing the voice cast. That alone could be a huge win for the game’s emotional delivery and characters.
We’ve seen early screenshots and got a general feel for where things are going. But now we wait for gameplay. Fingers crossed it shows up before the end of the year.
Stay tuned, this could be a sleeper hit for turn-based RPG fans.
