It has been a tough 12 months being stuck in this lockdown. Many people have lost their jobs or taken pay cuts. So we thought for those who are struggling, and for people who just like a bargain, we’d post some of the hottest spring deals we’ve spotted around the web. Whether it’s gaming or tech, we’ve found some top deals you can bag for yourself this spring.
Spring Deals
Gaming
Let’s kick things off with our spring gaming deals.
If you’re looking at the latest releases or a reliable place to pre-order games, then CDKeys is one of the best places to check out for those on a budget. They currently have some big discounts on new and upcoming titles for PC and console gamers, with 32% off Resident Evil Village, 46% off Evil Genius 2: World Domination and 52% off MotoGP 21. But as well as games, they also credit for things like the PlayStation Store at discounted rates, meaning you can get more for your money. And the same goes for memberships like Xbox Games Pass Ultimate. And best of all, these credits and memberships are all instant delivery via email.
If you’re not a fan of digital though, there are still some deals out there on physical copies of games. You’ve got Hitman III on PS5 currently £15 off at Amazon, with many other titles discounted too. You’ve also got games like Mortal Kombat 11 on sale at The Game Collection, where it’s £15.95 for PS4. But, this is an especially good deal, because if you have a PS5, you can get some games like this that will upgrade from PS4 to PS5 for free, saving you a few pennies.
There are also some free titles you can pick up too, and I’m not talking about Free-to-Play games like Apex Legends and Fortnite. That’s because, in response to the COVID-19 Pandemic, they’ve launched a Play at Home campaign, giving away a whole bunch of top titles like Enter the Gungeon and Thumper to anyone with a PlayStation. And best of all, you don’t need PS Plus to download them, they’re free for everyone.
If video games aren’t your thing, you can check out some decent deals on board games over at Nerdythings. They have everything from Rick and Morty Monopoly to Game of Thrones Chess, and even Harry Potter House Crest playing cars and a bunch of themed jigsaws. And whilst you’re there, you’ll also be able to pick up a whole bunch of nerdy things in the form of collectible figurines and more.
Tech
When it comes to tech, HTC has unveiled a series of deals for Spring across selected items in the HTC VIVE range. The sale will run 29th March – 4th April 2021 (Mon-Sun inclusive) and you can bag yourself £120 off the Cosmos or Cosmos Elite. These deals can be purchased in the UK via the Vive.com store and the following retailers:
- Amazon
- Argos
- Carphone
- Game
- Overclockers
- Scan
- Ebuyer
Another popular set of devices available on offer this Spring, are Amazon’s wide range of smart products. The Echo Dot (4th-Gen) is currently £20 off, making it only £29.99, and the Fire TV Cube is £50 off at just £59.99. Whilst many may not like the giant online retailer, citing that they’re shutting smaller businesses by pricing things so low the high street shops can’t compete with them, there is no doubt that their own products are absolutely brilliant. We have dots and fire sticks ourselves, and they’re absolutely fantastic. And there has never been a better time to grab these items than now, with discounts matching that of the ones we saw on Prime Day and Black Friday/Cyber Monday from last year.
But it doesn’t end there, there are plenty of other retailers with top offers on Tech too. With places like Currys PC World offering up to 40% off TVs, Computing and Appliances. It’s always best to shop around, because many retailers will try to match each other or out do each other by including extra freebies or slightly under cutting the competition. And you can save even more money with these online giants and smaller retailers too, by using services such as Quidco to get extra cashback on top of the bargains you find.
Clothing & Accessories
As well as the games and tech themselves, you’ve also got other gaming-related goodies available too, with up to 50% off in the Just Geek sale!
Hopefully, we’ve given you a few places to check out this spring where you can bag yourself some bargains, or take advantage of some great offers.
