Spike Chunsoft reveal several new titles during GDC 2017

In what was their first-ever press event in the western world, Spike Chunsoft made several announcements revealing new projects, including the return of some familiar faces. The highlight for many fans though was the return of Fire Pro Wrestling World which was announced would be released on PlayStation 4 as well as PC, which would see Steam Early Access coming this summer, although no other dates have been confirmed yet.

The Danganronpa series also had a few announcements too, with PC releases for Danganronpa Another Episode: Ultra Despair Girls and Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony scheduled for release on July 27th and September 26th respectively. The Danganronpa announcements didn’t stop there though as it was also announced that fans owning a PS4 with PS Plus membership would be getting a FREE VR prelude to the upcoming Cyber Danganronpa: The Class Trial, which would hit the European markets on March 10th.

What’s more, director and writer Kotaro Uchikoshi also revealed a new project he was working on called Psync alongside details for a collection of HD remastered virtual novel games titled Zero Escape: The Nonary Games. And if you thought that was everything you’d be wrong, as there was one final announcement which some fans were stoked to hear, in that the critically acclaimed visual novel game 428: Shibuya Scramble would finally be getting a global release on both PC and PS4.
