Sony Interactive Entertainment has officially named its first fight stick FlexStrike. It’s coming in 2026 and will debut at EVO 2025, from August 1 to 3 in Las Vegas.
It was previously known as Project Defiant.
The FlexStrike works on PlayStation 5 and PC. You can use it wired or wirelessly with PlayStation Link. It comes with mechanical buttons, swappable restrictor gates (square, circle, octagon), and built-in storage. A USB-C PlayStation Link adapter is included.
You’ll also get a sling carry case for tournaments or local sessions. A built-in battery means you won’t need to carry extra power cables.

Fighting features built in FlexStrike
You can connect both the fight stick and a Pulse headset to the same PlayStation Link adapter. This means no laggy audio and no extra dongles.
Two FlexStrikes can be connected at once to a single adapter on PS5. Great for couch matches.
The design is ergonomic. Angled surfaces, non-slip base, and a high-quality digital stick.
It has all the DualSense controls, plus a touchpad. You can switch directional input modes or lock the layout to avoid mistakes during a match.
You can keep your DualSense connected, too, handy for menus or switching quickly between rounds. Pressing the PS button also wakes the console once synced.
FlexStrike will be shown at EVO 2025 at the Fight Stick Museum and the Arc System Works booth. Launch is set for 2026.
