The team behind Skyblivion has finally given fans a proper look at the project. A new video shows the first 15 minutes of the massive fan remake of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion running in Skyrim, and you can check it out below.
Skyblivion First 15-minute gameplay
The goal is simple: bring Oblivion to a new generation, while letting longtime fans relive it in a modern engine. The mod works with both Skyrim Legacy Edition and Special Edition. Even though it’s still a work in progress, it already looks stunning.
Players will be able to customise their install. That means you can pick and choose from landscaping, interiors, city upgrades, weapons, armour, and more. This modular approach should also help the team finish things faster.

A full release is planned for 2025, though the team hasn’t locked in a date. Progress is big, with new dungeons, fresh landscapes, new biomes, mechanics, and plenty of graphical improvements.
Until then, Skyrim fans have plenty of mods to keep them busy. From Wyrmstooth to Legacy of the Dragonborn, and even Castlevania-inspired adventures, the scene is still thriving. But Skyblivion might just be the crown jewel when it finally lands.
