The wait is almost over. Electronic Arts and Full Circle are finally putting skate. in players’ hands on September 16. It launches in Early Access as a free-to-play title on PS5, Xbox, PS4, and PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and the EA App.

This isn’t a small slice; it’s the foundation. Early Access brings back the iconic Flick-It trick system, tuned for modern play, alongside physics-heavy skating that rewards style, timing, and a bit of chaos. Players will drop into San Vansterdam, a massive online hub where skating and socialising collide.
Full Circle isn’t calling this the final form. The studio says Early Access will expand steadily, with challenges, events, features, and improvements driven by community feedback. The full release is expected about a year later, once the bones of the game have been shaped by the players themselves.
It’s free, it’s cross-platform, and it’s designed to grow. For fans waiting years to kick, push, and grind again, skate. is ready to become your new spot.
