Sharkoon unveils AK6 RGB and MK6 RGB: Stylish glass cases with serious airflow

If you’re on the hunt for a PC case that combines sleek aesthetics with functionality, Sharkoon might just have dropped the perfect options. Say hello to the new AK6 RGB and MK6 RGB cases—available in both black and white—that not only showcase your hardware in style but also keep things cool under the hood.

Glass with class

First off, let’s talk looks. The AK6 RGB sports a modern tempered glass design that wraps around the front and side, giving you a panoramic view of your rig’s internals. It’s like having your PC on display in a high-end showroom. The continuous glass window isn’t just for vanity, though; it’s a statement that says, “Yes, I care about what’s inside, and I’m not afraid to show it.”

Breathtaking airflow in a glass case?

Now, glass cases often get a bad rap when it comes to airflow, but Sharkoon has tackled this head-on. The AK6 RGB comes pre-installed with four addressable 120 mm RGB LED PWM fans. Three of these feature reverse airflow to draw cool air in through the side panel—a clever design choice that ensures your components stay chill even during those intense gaming sessions.

And if you’re an airflow enthusiast, there’s room to mount up to nine fans in total. Yes, nine. So whether you’re overclocking or just like to keep things frosty, the AK6 RGB has got you covered.

Water cooling? Dive right in

Prefer liquid cooling? No problem. The AK6 RGB supports up to two radiators simultaneously—a 360 mm radiator and an additional one up to 280 mm. This gives you plenty of flexibility to set up a custom loop or fit in those chunky all-in-one units.

Support for BTF mainboards

Tech geeks rejoice—the AK6 RGB isn’t just about looks. It’s compatible with conventional mini-ITX, micro-ATX, and ATX motherboards, but it also supports almost all BTF (Back To Front) formats on the market. This means you can opt for a more unconventional build layout if that’s your thing.

Connectivity where you need it

One of the standout features is the placement of the I/O panel on the left side of the case. You’ll find a TRRS port (that’s your combo audio jack) and a USB-C port, offering up-to-date connectivity for a wide range of devices. Whether you’re plugging in your headset, transferring data from an external SSD, or connecting your smartphone, it’s all within easy reach.

Room to grow

Inside, the AK6 RGB is spacious enough to house large graphics cards up to 41 cm in length. It even includes a rubberised graphics card holder to prevent sagging—a nice touch that shows Sharkoon is paying attention to the details. CPU coolers up to 17 cm in height are supported, and power supplies up to 23.5 cm in length can be accommodated.

Storage-wise, you’ve got space for up to two 3.5″ HDDs or four 2.5″ SSDs, so you won’t be running out of room for your game library anytime soon.

Meet the MK6 RGB

If you’re working with a smaller setup or just prefer a more compact case, the MK6 RGB might be more up your alley. This micro-ATX version offers many of the same features as its bigger sibling but in a smaller footprint. Available in black or white, it’s perfect for those who want style without sacrificing too much desk space.

Price and availability

Both cases are available now, with the AK6 RGB retailing at a recommended price of €84.90 and the MK6 RGB at €79.90. Considering the features and the premium design, that’s a pretty competitive price point.

Sharkoon has clearly put a lot of thought into these cases, balancing aesthetics with functionality. The glass design lets you showcase your build, while the smart airflow solutions ensure your components stay cool. Add to that the modern connectivity options and ample space for high-end hardware, and you’ve got yourself a couple of cases that are well worth considering for your next build.

Whether you’re a hardcore gamer looking to overclock or someone who just wants a stylish case to house your daily driver, the AK6 RGB and MK6 RGB offer a lot of bang for your buck.
