Sengoku Dynasty expands to consoles in 2025

Superkami and Toplitz Productions have exciting news for fans of Sengoku Dynasty. The highly anticipated village builder and survival adventure is set to expand beyond PC, with a console release confirmed for 2025. While specific platforms and launch dates are still under wraps, the game will be bringing its captivating mix of survival, crafting, and exploration to a whole new audience.

This console expansion follows the full version 1.0 PC launch in November 2024, allowing console players to dive into the world of feudal Japan’s turbulent history. Offering both single-player and multiplayer co-op modes, Sengoku Dynasty provides an immersive experience in which players can explore, build, and survive in a richly detailed landscape.

Bringing feudal Japan to consoles

Toplitz Productions’ CEO, Matthias Wünsche, shared his excitement about the upcoming release: “We’re extremely pleased to announce that Sengoku Dynasty will bring its captivating world of 16th-century Japan to console audiences. Superkami has delivered a game that captures the culture, traditions, and breathtaking landscapes of a rich historical era. We can’t wait for players to explore this unique world.”

While no exact platforms have been revealed yet, the console version will remain identical to the PC experience, including all of its content and updates, such as the most recent Ikigai update. This latest patch introduced a refined combat system and further improvements to the game’s dynamic village-building and survival mechanics.

Single-player and co-op fun

Whether players choose to forge their path alone or team up with up to three companions in co-op mode, Sengoku Dynasty offers a unique insight into Japan’s social structures, craftsmanship, and economy. Players can build villages, cultivate land, trade resources, and craft essential tools and weapons. From bamboo to stone and wood, the game’s crafting system is deeply integrated into the survival mechanics, letting players create farming tools, shrines, and even katana and bows to protect their communities.

As players navigate this challenging yet beautiful world, they will face the task of transforming a famine-stricken and war-torn land into a thriving legacy, all while uncovering the rich history and mysteries of 16th-century Japan.

More details coming in 2025

With Sengoku Dynasty already a hit in early access on PC, this console release promises to broaden its reach and offer even more players the chance to explore feudal Japan. Full platform details and a concrete release date for the console version will be shared in early 2025, so fans should stay tuned for further announcements.
