#ScreenshotSaturday favourites

Here we are, back with another edition of our #ScreenshotSaturday favourites, showcasing the awesome work going on in the indie community.

First up this week we have a screenshot of the very 90s themed ILOVEYOU by Floating Moon Studios. After feeling that split-screen co-op games died in the early 2000s, these guys have decided to make one, potentially sparking a revival of the genre. Playing as one of two characters, a hacker or a social engineer, you will need to work together in order to solve a wide array of computer inspired puzzles if you’re both to make it through this game alive and well.

Following that, we have a little mobile game called Kitty Quest which was developed by Digital Mind. Why have I included this? Because of Cats, that’s why. So furry and fluffy, I just wanna squish ’em all. But yeah, getting back to the game, Kitty Quest is a side-scrolling platformer where you have to help Kitty navigate the various levels dodging creatures such as scorpions and giant millipedes, or were they centipedes? I didn’t have time to count their legs so let us just call them bugs. Check out the latest gameplay video below, and if you like what you see, which you will because again, Cats, then you can download it from the Google Play Store HERE.

And finally, we have the colourful retro art style of Shakedown: Hawaii by Vblank Entertainment. The little gameplay clip we have for you today shows how helpful you can be by ploughing the local farmer’s fields, and how fun it is to run down the people working there. Don’t be getting any ideas to go and do this yourself though, after all, we all know what bad influence games are in society.

And that’s your lot from us this week, we’ve had a lot of fun checking out these awesome indie games and we hope you do too. Until next time, peace out!
