Sandberg’s mouse that couldn’t make its mind up

A new gaming mouse from Sandberg has cable and is wireless. What the …? Why not one or the other? Does that make sense at all?

The explanation to this apparent paradox is the desire to create a mouse not just for gaming. The slight delay caused by wireless transfer of data is less than ideal when gaming. But the freedom of not having a cable is much preferred when using your computer for anything other than gaming.

The Sandberg Sniper Mouse had the same system, but its successor is superior in every way while still offering the same basic principle of being a gaming mouse that can also be used for Excel and photoshop.

Apart from the double connection system, the new Sniper 2 features the fast FCT3212 chipset, 7 LED colours, 2400 DPI resolution and precise Huano switches, with a guaranteed service life of at least 5 million clicks. All covered by Sandberg’s 5-year warranty.

And yet, the price has been kept to a very reasonable level.
