Saber Interactive and developer stillalive studios have revealed a brand-new gameplay trailer for Bus Bound, the upcoming bus driving sim heading to PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S in 2026. Far from just getting passengers from A to B, the game is about shaping an entire city, one route at a time.
Life on the road in Emberville
Set in the vibrant city of Emberville, Bus Bound offers more than traffic lights and timetables. The town is fully simulated, with a dynamic traffic system, day/night cycle, and changing weather. Each neighbourhood has its own pace, from busy intersections to quieter suburban streets, and your driving choices will help influence the city’s growth.
More than just a bus driver
What sets Bus Bound apart is its focus on improving public life. By upgrading bus stops, unlocking new routes, and earning perks, you’ll actively shape districts into more pedestrian-friendly spaces. Every journey adds up, with your role extending well beyond the driver’s seat.

American icons at the wheel
At launch, players will have access to a growing lineup of over a dozen buses from major American manufacturers. Confirmed vehicles include the New Flyer Xcelsior 40ft CNG and the Blue Bird Sigma, with plenty more to choose from as you grow your fleet.
Play solo or with friends
For those who prefer teamwork, Bus Bound features online co-op for up to four players. Each driver can split off to cover different routes while contributing to the shared goal of improving Emberville together.
Customise your fleet, your way
As you drive, you’ll earn goodwill from your passengers, unlocking new buses, upgrades, and cosmetic options. Whether you want a chilled-out driving experience or a finely tuned, optimised run, the freedom is in your hands.
Bus Bound is scheduled to arrive in 2026. You can wishlist the game now on Steam, PlayStation Store, and Microsoft Store.
