RGG Studio and SEGA are gearing up for a big showcase. The studio has announced RGG Summit 2025, set for 24 September at 04:00 BST (23 September at 20:00 PT). And that’s not all – once the summit wraps up, an RGG Direct will follow. That’s where fans can expect a deeper dive into whatever’s revealed during the main event.
Games that could appear at RGG Direct
The games are the big questions. Two names stand out: Stranger Than Heaven and the new Virtua Fighter Project.
We already know Stranger Than Heaven is a long way off. SEGA hinted earlier this year that it won’t land until 2027. A release date is unlikely. But even a release window would go a long way in keeping fans patient.
Meanwhile, the Virtua Fighter Project has momentum. Gameplay was shown off for the first time earlier this month. But details remain thin. That could change next month at RGG Summit, with the Direct offering a closer look at what RGG Studio is building.
The stage is set. September could give us a glimpse at the future of RGG.
