Capcom has confirmed that Resident Evil Requiem will launch on Nintendo Switch 2 alongside PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox on 27 February 2026.

The news dropped during today’s Nintendo Direct, where a brand-new trailer showcased the Switch 2 version. While it’s locked at 30 FPS and comes with a clear visual downgrade compared to other platforms, it still holds up surprisingly well on the handheld-hybrid system.
Alongside the new entry, Resident Evil VII Biohazard and Resident Evil Village will also land on Switch 2 the very same day, giving fans a hefty dose of survival horror to dive into.
With the Switch 2 joining the list of supported platforms, Capcom looks ready to make Requiem a true multi-platform launch.
