Team Racing League is a “Team strategy racer” where two teams go head-to-head. Only one player needs to finish first for a team to win, with other players being able to choose to support their team mate, helping them fight for position and messing up your opponents.
Now about the game itself, after a long wait due to a lack of other players online, we finally got into a game. We were split into teams of 3, and the goal was to finish first using your other team mates as decoys and distractions, such as creating road blocks and even using flamethrowers. After sitting on a loading screen for what seemed far too long, you were thrust into the game, and it seemed that once you got into first place you were set to win the race.
Team Racing League as a whole right now doesn’t have a lot of replayability. More maps and vehicles would be a great asset to this game and could correct that. In fact, there are several aspects of the game that require a lot of work to make this more enjoyable for the player both as an individual and as a team. The game also needs expanding to include different maps that have different difficulty levels, so that the player/players are challenged by the map as well as each other. If you are playing with random people in the game chatting can be difficult as there is only a chat box so making key decisions as both teams can see this chat box, there is currently no voice chat in game, this would be a key asset as it would allow teams to communicate more clearly.
Another issue faced was if you are playing with random people in the game, chatting can be difficult. This is due to there only being a chat box available, so making key decisions is pointless as both teams can see this chat box. There is currently no voice chat in game, but should it be added, this would be a key asset as it would allow teams to communicate more clearly. If I was to summarise my experience with this game, I would say it is a good concept, but one that needs work. There aren’t many games like this on the market, and so it has the potential to be something bigger if worked on correctly.

The TL;DR
- Game needs work
- Long wait times for multiplayer
- Communication issues
- Simplistic design
