Razer has unveiled its new Huntsman V3 Pro 8KHz and Huntsman V3 Pro Tenkeyless 8KHz keyboards, designed to deliver exceptional speed, precision, and comfort for esports players. These latest additions continue Razer’s mission to push the limits of gaming performance, offering professional gamers the responsiveness they need to compete at the highest level.
The Huntsman V3 Pro series was developed with the help of top esports athletes, including Nikola “NiKo” Kovač, a legendary Counter-Strike player and proud member of Team Razer. NiKo worked closely with Razer engineers, sharing his experience to refine the keyboard’s latency, key feel, and overall performance. He said that the new 8KHz model provides the accuracy and control that competitive play demands. Jeffrey Chau, Razer’s Global Esports Director, explained that the Huntsman V3 Pro is the result of years of collaboration with elite players, built to meet the exact needs of professional gaming.

At its core, the Huntsman V3 Pro 8KHz features Razer’s Analogue Optical Switches Gen 2 combined with True 8000 Hz HyperPolling technology. This setup delivers a rapid response time of only 0.58 milliseconds, making it faster than any previous Razer keyboard. Players can customise the actuation distance between 0.1 mm and 4.0 mm for a fully personalised feel. It also includes Rapid Trigger Mode and Razer Snap Tap for instant key resets and near-instant directional changes, which are perfect for competitive shooters that demand quick reactions.

The keyboard is built with a durable 5052 aluminium alloy top case for a solid structure and a premium look. It also comes with a dense sound-dampening foam layer and pre-lubed stabilisers, giving every keypress a smoother and quieter feel. The doubleshot PBT keycaps resist wear even after long use, while the magnetic leatherette wrist rest adds comfort for extended gaming sessions. Each element of the Huntsman V3 Pro series has been carefully designed to balance durability, comfort, and precision.
Both the full-size and tenkeyless versions come with a multi-function digital dial and dedicated buttons for controlling media, macros, and other functions. Players can fine-tune settings like actuation height and Rapid Trigger sensitivity directly on the keyboard. The built-in LED display shows these changes in real time, and since all settings are stored onboard, there’s no need for additional software.
