Pragmata’s new 7-minute gameplay shows off your android sidekick in action

Capcom has released 7 minutes of new gameplay for PRAGMATA, showcasing the game’s combat and exploration. The footage comes from a YouTuber, GamersPrey at ChinaJoy 2025, where Capcom presented a new demo of the sci-fi action game.

PRAGMATA is set on a dark and futuristic Moon. You play as Hugh Williams, a specialist sent to investigate a lunar research facility that has lost contact. After a lunar quake, Hugh is separated from his team. He is saved by Diana, an android girl who becomes his ally as they search for a way back to Earth.

The demo focuses on combat mechanics. Enemies wear heavy armour, making them hard to damage. Diana can break this armour with her special abilities, allowing Hugh to strike at weak points. This teamwork is key to defeating tougher enemies.

The game will feature a range of weapons, robotic enemies, and environmental puzzles. Players will need to use both Hugh’s equipment and Diana’s powers to progress through the world.

Now, before you get too hyped, this gameplay slice isn’t showing anything drastically new. The locations are mostly the same as those we saw in previous trailers, so think of this as more of a combat showcase. Judging by the tutorial-like flow, it seems to be pulled from one of the early levels.

PRAGMATA is scheduled to launch in 2026. Capcom had previously mentioned ray tracing support, but there has been no recent update on that feature.

You can watch the 7-minute gameplay video to get a better feel for how PRAGMATA is shaping up.
