KAMITSUBAKI STUDIO and solo developer Kazuhide Oka have revealed Platonica Space, a new “psychological space exploration adventure” for PC via Steam. There’s no launch date yet, but the game will be playable at BitSummit from July 18 to 20 in Kyoto, Japan.
A world made of memories and locked doors
You wake up in a strange room. No memories. No exit. Every door you open leads to another unfamiliar space. You’re trapped in a maze of connected rooms and you’re not alone.
Other girls are stuck here too. They also don’t remember anything. As you explore, it becomes clear: these rooms are built from memories: yours and theirs.
To find the truth, you need to recover your memories. You do this by placing items in specific spots. A knife in a kitchen might bring back a happy memory. Put it in another room, and it could trigger something darker.

But not every memory is yours. Some belong to the others. You’ll need to figure out which is which to piece the story together.
Explore, rest, repeat, but nothing stays the same in Platonica space
Every action increases your Sleepiness. When it maxes out, you fall asleep. When you wake up, the layout changes. Rooms shift. Items move. You lose everything you had.
You’ll need to think ahead. Plan your moves. Choose which rooms to enter and which items to carry.
Other characters will help, or at least seem to. Each has secrets. Each has a past. Can you trust them?
Unique style and a strong creative team
Platonica space is written and programmed by Kazuhide Oka. 3D art is by Moe Katakura. Music comes from Agehasprings Party, known for emotional soundtracks. JEFF99 designed the logo. The English version is translated by Marco Godano, with Chinese translations by Flankoi.
Platonica Space blends mystery, memory, and shifting worlds into one deep experience. If you like surreal, story-driven games, keep this on your radar.
You can wishlist it on Steam now.
