Sean Krankel, co-founder and studio director at Night School, commented on the upcoming release, “With Oxenfree II: Lost Signals, we wanted to tap into the essence and world that made the original game so special, while immersing players in a brand-new story with even higher stakes. This game has been a labour of love, and we can’t wait for players to embody Riley, shaping her through life-altering choices and overcoming supernatural challenges that threaten to destroy her future.”

Oxenfree II: Lost Signals follows the story of Riley Poverly, an environmental researcher who returns to her hometown of Camena to investigate mysterious radio frequency signals that are causing disturbances in electronic equipment. As she delves deeper into the enigma, she uncovers a long history of ghostly occurrences on the nearby Edwards Island and becomes entangled in a spine-chilling, supernatural mystery. The game features Night School’s signature naturalistic dialogue system, offering players an immersive experience where their choices shape the story in unexpected ways.

Upon release, Oxenfree II: Lost Signals will support a localised interface and subtitles in numerous languages, ensuring a broad, global audience can enjoy the game.

Pre-orders for Oxenfree II: Lost Signals are now open via the Nintendo eShop and PlayStation Store. The game is set to launch on July 12 on the Nintendo Switch system, PC and Mac via Steam for £17.99, PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 for £18.99, and on Netflix for mobile devices, where it will be included with all memberships without any ads, additional fees, or in-app purchases.
