The wait is over. Orbyss, the stunning logic-based puzzle adventure from solo developer Yannick Audéoud and publisher Misty Whale, is officially out now on Steam, accompanied by a mesmerising new launch trailer.
Described as “a meditation in motion” by early players, Orbyss takes players into a luminous digital realm where geometry meets emotion. Across eight chapters and over forty handcrafted puzzles, you’ll shift perspectives, manipulate time, and command drones in a quest to restore balance to a world teetering between light and corruption.
Every puzzle in Orbyss feels deliberate, built on strict logic but inviting creativity. There’s no rushing, no reflex-based gimmicks, just carefully constructed sequences that demand patience and insight. “This is a game about perception,” says developer Yannick Audéoud. “Each puzzle asks you to slow down, think carefully, and view things from a new angle. It’s been an absolute dream to see players connect with this world.”
Accompanying its visual brilliance is an atmospheric soundtrack by Pierre Estève (Atlantis series), whose ambient score blends analogue warmth with a minimalist, meditative tone. The music flows around each puzzle, enhancing the sense of wonder and quiet concentration that defines the experience.
