The old-school fantasy RPG Of Ash and Steel is gearing up for launch, with Fire & Frost and tinyBuild confirming a 6 November release on PC via Steam and GOG.

A brand-new demo is also live today, giving players a taste of Tristan’s early journey. You’ll get a few solid hours to roam the starting region, take on side quests, test out skill trees, and muck in with the local lumberjacks before heading off with Fox to explore an abandoned village.
If you’re after something more intense, the demo’s Arena Master Mode has you covered. It’s a wave-based combat challenge where you’ll grind for XP, gold, and glory, sharpening weapons and skills to prove you’re the top fighter in Grayshaft.
The last demo didn’t exactly blow minds, but there was promise under the rough edges. Here’s hoping Fire & Frost have hammered out the kinks and delivered the kind of fantasy brawl fans have been waiting for.
