NYXI has introduced the NYXI Hyperion 3, a new controller made for Nintendo Switch 2 users who play for long hours. It is designed to replace the small Joy Cons with a bigger and more comfortable controller that feels closer to a full size gamepad.

The Hyperion 3 connects directly to the Switch 2, turning the handheld into one solid unit. The larger grips give your hands more space to rest, which helps reduce pain and tiredness during long gaming sessions. This is useful for games like RPGs racing titles and fast action games. NYXI also says the controller can be used wirelessly when the console is docked, so it can work like a normal controller too.
NYXI Hyperion 3 hall effect sticks
One of the main highlights is the use of hall effect sticks. These sticks use magnetic sensors instead of physical contact. This helps prevent stick drift, a common problem many players face after long use. The buttons are also larger and more spread out, making them easier to press and more comfortable for long playtime.
The NYXI Hyperion 3 controller uses micro switch face buttons and a redesigned D pad. Both give a firm and clear click, which can help with accurate moves and timing in games. A built in 9 axis gyro is also included, so motion controls still work in games that need aiming or steering.
On the back of the controller, there are extra buttons that can be programmed. Players can set common actions like jumping or reloading to these buttons. This helps keep thumbs on the sticks and makes gameplay feel smoother and less tiring.
The bigger size does make the Switch 2 less easy to carry around, but NYXI is clearly focusing on comfort over portability. The NYXI Hyperion 3 is aimed at players who use their Switch 2 for long sessions and want a more powerful and comfortable way to play.
