Ninja Gaiden 4 The Two Masters DLC release date confirmed for March 2026

Team Ninja is not wasting time. The studio has confirmed that Ninja Gaiden 4: The Two Masters DLC will launch on 4 March 2026. That means players are only days away from jumping back into the action.

Ninja Gaiden 4 was released in October 2025 and has stayed strong ever since. Now, this new expansion looks set to push things even further with more story, tougher fights, and meaningful gameplay tweaks.

Ninja Gaiden 4: the two masters dlc adds new chapters and Abyssal Road

The headline addition in Ninja Gaiden 4: The Two Masters DLC is three brand-new story chapters. Yakumo and Ryu return to face even more dangerous fiends. Expect harder bosses and sharper combat trials that demand tight timing and smart weapon use.

Both characters also get fresh tools. Yakumo gains the “Solitaire” scythe, built for crowd control and sweeping attacks. Ryu receives the “Jakotsumon” serpent gauntlets, focused on quick, close-range pressure. These weapons should open up new combo paths and playstyles.

Then there is Abyssal Road. This endurance mode throws 100 unique encounters at you. Enemies come from both the base game and the DLC. New mechanics, including Special Blood Essence and Frenzied states, change the pace mid-fight and keep you alert.

Alongside the content, Team Ninja is adding quality-of-life updates, balance changes, and combat responsiveness improvements.

The DLC costs $14.99 (around £12). Deluxe Edition owners get it at no extra cost. If you are still mastering Ninja Gaiden 4, this looks like the perfect excuse to return.
