Revealed by Game Director Masakazu Hirayama during the Official Xbox Podcast at Tokyo Game Show 2025, the DLC expands both story and gameplay. It introduces brand-new weapons for Ryu and Yakumo, each reflecting their unique fighting styles. Yakumo’s new weapon embodies his expressive, aggressive combat flair, while Ryu’s addition focuses on speed, precision, and power.

The DLC also features fresh story chapters set after the base game, told from both characters’ perspectives. Alongside this, you can expect new post-game challenges outside of the core Ninja Trials.
The Two Masters will be available through the Ninja Gaiden 4 Deluxe Edition or as part of the Deluxe Edition Upgrade. The Deluxe version costs around $20 (roughly £16) more than the standard release.
While Ninja Gaiden 4 already offers around 15–20 hours of gameplay, this expansion promises even more intense action and replayability.
Ninja Gaiden 4 launches on 21 October 2025 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox.
