NACON expands Revosim sim racing ecosystem with Xbox and PlayStation 5 compatibility

NACON has dropped a double announcement that’s bound to get sim racing fans revved up. Following the successful PC launch of its RS Pure Direct Drive wheelbase earlier this year, the French hardware maker has confirmed its Revosim range is headed to both Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5.

Revosim Xbox announcement

On the Xbox side, NACON has revealed a new suite of Revosim peripherals officially licensed and fully compatible with Microsoft’s latest consoles. That means the growing ecosystem, including the 9Nm Direct Drive RS Pure wheelbase, 100kg Load Cell pedal set, and modular add-ons like the Loadcell Handbrake and Hybrid Gearbox, will soon be available for console racers. Technical specs and launch details are still under wraps, but NACON promises more information in the coming weeks.

Revosim PlayStation announcement

Meanwhile, Sony fans won’t be left behind. NACON also confirmed that the RS Pure bundle for PS5 has secured official PlayStation licensing. The package mirrors its PC counterpart with the same precision-engineered 9Nm base, pedal set, and fully customisable wheel. It marks Revosim’s console debut for PlayStation, designed to offer both accessibility and high performance for budding racers and veterans alike.

Sébastien Waxin, Head of Racing at NACON, described the dual console push as a milestone moment for the brand:

“As sim racing enthusiasts, we design each product with precision and attention to detail to deliver an experience that faithfully replicates the sensations of racing. With Revosim, NACON is strengthening its strategic position at the crossroads of racing game development and sim racing hardware manufacturing.”

With cross-platform compatibility, modular components, and both Xbox and PlayStation licensing now secured, Revosim looks set to become a serious player in the sim racing hardware market. Details on pricing, specs, and release dates will be revealed soon, but it’s safe to say console racers can finally look forward to the same premium experience PC players have been enjoying since June.
