Monarchy now available on Xbox, PS5, Switch, and Steam

Independent game development studio Brain Seal Ltd. has announced that Monarchy, their 2D side-scrolling strategy game, is now available on Xbox, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and Steam.

Monarchy invites players to build and manage their own base, gather resources, explore mysterious forests, and conquer enemies in a dynamic world. The game combines strategic base-building with side-scrolling action, offering a unique experience that challenges players to survive and thrive through different seasons.

Build, hunt, and defend

The game features a dynamic building system that allows you to design and place buildings freely, creating a vibrant and personalised base. With the help of an archer companion, players can utilise the hunting mechanic to gather resources and protect themselves from wild animals.

A unified military system enables you to train an army that automatically follows you and engages in combat, ensuring your base is well-defended against threats. Setting up traps, such as spear traps, adds an extra layer of defence to keep your settlement safe.

Seasonal challenges and exploration

Monarchy offers unique experiences across different seasons:

Exploring caves throughout the forest can lead to discovering treasures, enemies, and surprises, adding depth to each playthrough. Utilise the cart to transport resources and the monolith for special upgrades that enhance your capabilities.

Co-op mode for shared adventures

One of the standout features is the co-op mode, allowing friends and family to join in the fun. Cooperative play brings an additional layer of strategy and enjoyment, as you work together to build, explore, and conquer.

Monarchy key features

Monarchy blends strategy and adventure, providing a rich gaming experience that adapts with each season and playthrough.
