Konami has released the launch trailer for Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, confirming its arrival on 28 August for PlayStation 5, Xbox, and PC via Steam.

The remake stays true to the 2004 original but pushes everything forward. The gripping story, characters, and music return with completely rebuilt visuals and 3D audio that capture the tension of the jungle. Every cutscene, every detail, has been given new life.
Snake’s survival feels more real than ever. Clothes tear, bruises appear, and bullet wounds leave permanent scars. Each battle leaves its mark, shaping a unique journey for every player. Players can also switch between modern controls and the classic style for an old-school feel.
Side modes add even more variety. Snake vs. Monkey appears on PlayStation 5 and PC, while Xbox gets Snake vs. Bomberman. There’s also Fox Hunt, a brand-new multiplayer mode built around stealth, and the return of Secret Theater with both old and new comedic scenes.
