Marvel Games has made it clear that its partnership with Insomniac Games is here to stay. In a recent chat with Game Informer, Haluk Mentes, the general manager, opened up about how much the company values its collaboration with the Spider-Man studio, and how it plans to keep that relationship going for years to come.

Mentes highlighted that this isn’t just after faithful recreations of its heroes. Instead, it wants studios that can reinvent them with fresh ideas while staying true to their essence. “Authenticity doesn’t mean copying the comics or movies,” he explained. “It’s about letting teams create something familiar yet original.”
Marvel and Insomniac’s decade-long journey
The partnership between these two spans more than a decade, producing three Spider-Man titles and now leading to Marvel’s Wolverine. Mentes said their shared values and creative trust made Insomniac the obvious choice for bringing Logan back in a bold new way.
He also confirmed that we have plans to keep working with Insomniac “for many years to come,” hinting that more Marvel games could be on the way once Wolverine makes its debut.
