Mantis Burn Racing drifting onto Switch at 60fps

Having gotten to grips with the Switch’s hardware, VooFoo Studios have announced today that when their popular top-down racer Mantis Burn Racing comes to the Switch, it’ll be able to consistently achieve 60fps. And that’s on both TV and handheld mode. Pretty impressive right?

Not just that, but it was also announced that there will be cross-platform support allowing Switch players to face off against gamers on Xbox One and Steam.

Here’s what Mark Williams, Technology Director of VooFoo Studios had to say:

“We’ve been spending a lot of time getting to grips with the capabilities of the Switch – we’ve learnt a lot by digging deeper into the hardware. The Switch’s performance analysis tools have allowed us to understand where frame rate improvements could be made and we’re really pleased to have the game running at a consistently smooth 60fps – we were determined to make the Switch version the best it can be.”
