A brand new trailer for Lost Soul Aside is here, and it’s all about Arena’s powers. These abilities can boost your combos, heal you mid-fight, or throw up shields when the pressure hits. It’s a clear showcase of how the dragon-like Arena is more than just a sidekick – it’s a game-changer.
Lost Soul Aside – Arena Power trailer
The trailer highlights fast combat where timing is everything. Chain together combos, dodge at the right moment, and parry to survive. As you fight, the Fusion Gauge builds, and once full, Arena’s claws slam into enemies with brutal force. The more you progress, the stronger this ability becomes, unlocking fresh moves for Kaser.

Weapons play a big role, too. You’ll collect fragments that upgrade and customise them. Some add raw power, others help with healing, or tweak your fighting style. You can mix fragments to build weapons that fit your playstyle, whether that’s raw damage or defensive mastery. It’s a system built for experimentation.
Visually, Lost Soul Aside is sticking with Unreal Engine 4, but it’s getting a boost from ray tracing. You can expect improved lighting, reflections, and shadows. On PC, the game will also support DLSS 4, though it’s not confirmed yet if DLSS 4 Multi-Frame Gen will be included. You can check out if your rig can handle this game here.
The project has come a long way since its 2016 reveal, when it was an indie experiment inspired by Final Fantasy XV. Now it’s gearing up for a full release.
Lost Soul Aside launches on 29 August for PlayStation 5 and PC.
