The game draws heavily from Italy’s cultural heritage, inspired by Dante Alighieri’s epic poem. You will take on the role of a warrior-poet trapped in the infernal depths. Descend through Hell’s circles, battle powerful demons, and seek redemption for a sinful past.
La Divina Commedia features hack-and-slash gameplay with unique mechanics for each weapon class. It includes procedurally generated extraction dungeons, a narrative-driven alignment system tied to the Seven Deadly Sins, and fully customisable weapons and armour, both in stats and appearance.
The story is central, weaving in verses from the Great Poet. Players can choose a male or female character, shaping their journey and narrative experience. High-fidelity graphics and animations are powered by a motion capture system developed with an acclaimed international studio behind titles like Phantom Blade Zero.
La Divina Commedia is a mix of strategy, variety, storytelling, and it promises a rich, dark fantasy adventure deeply rooted in Italian culture.
