Konami Digital Entertainment B.V. is announcing today that Andrey Arshavin will be the latest addition to the roster of Legends to feature in the upcoming eFootball PES 2020. The announcement comes following latest news of Konami forming long-term partnerships with Juventus FC, Manchester United FC and FC Bayern Munich.

Russian superstar and former Arsenal FC player, Arshavin has a special place in the hearts of football fans the world over following his breakout performances in the European Championships in 2008. Memories of his Man of the Match display for England’s top league – in which he joined the brief list of players to have scored four goals in a single game – helped confirm his legendary status as a player.

The Russian market continues to be of significance for the eFootball PES series, following the addition of the fully licensed Russian Premier Liga exclusively last year, which will remain in place for eFootball PES 2020. Arshavin himself will feature in multiple upcoming marketing activities with both Konami and the Russian Premier Liga that fans worldwide can look forward to.

eFootball PES 2020 ushers in a new decade of industry-leading football simulation with a bold promise to revolutionise eFootball and introduce the sport to a global audience. The game features a brand-new mode called Matchday that will allow players to pick a side and come together for weekly events to compete in the biggest matches in football and help secure victory for your team.

eFootball PES 2020  will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC Steam, on September 10th (Americas/Europe/Asia) / September 12th (Japan) with pre-orders now available for the standard and legend editions.
