Keychron M2 Mini 8K brings powerful and smooth gaming in a tiny 50 g design

The new Keychron M2 Mini 8K is here, and it brings a surprising mix of power, comfort, and speed in a very small and lightweight body. Keychron quietly added this mouse to its lineup, and it is already looking like a great choice for players who want fast performance without paying a high price. Priced at $59.99, it gives a lot of features usually seen in more expensive gaming mice.

This updated version improves two major things. First, the polling rate jumps from 1 kHz to a super-fast 8 kHz, which helps reduce delay and makes every movement feel smoother. Second, Keychron replaces the older PixArt PAW 3395 sensor with the new PAW 3950. This upgrade brings better tracking, lower input delay, and more accurate movement even during fast flicks.

The new sensor also pushes the sensitivity up to 30,000 DPI, with tracking speeds of up to 750 IPS and 50 G acceleration. A nice bonus is that the mouse can even track on glass surfaces, as long as the glass is thicker than 4 mm. This makes the M2 Mini 8K useful in almost any setup.

For connectivity, the Keychron M2 Mini 8K keeps Keychron’s popular tri-mode system. You can use Bluetooth 5.3, 2.4 GHz wireless, or a wired USB-C connection. The full 8 kHz polling works on both 2.4 GHz and wired modes. Inside, a 600 mAh battery keeps the mouse running for up to 140 hours if used on Bluetooth, which is great for long work or gaming sessions.

Keychron M2 Mini weighs 50 g

The mouse weighs only 50 g, making it very easy to move around the mousepad. It also comes with smooth PTFE feet for better gliding. Keychron uses Huano Transparent Blue Shell Pink Dot switches for the main clicks, and these switches are rated for 80 million clicks, so they should last a long time.

The size makes it great for small hands. The M2 Mini 8K measures 117 × 64 × 38 mm. This is smaller than the regular M2, which is 121.5 × 66.7 × 40.6 mm. Even the weight difference is tiny, as the bigger M2 weighs 55 g.

Overall, the Keychron M2 Mini 8K delivers strong performance, fast tracking, and a very light body, making it a great option for gamers who want speed in a compact shape without spending too much.
