iFixit, a company famous for its repair guides and spare parts, has exciting news for Xbox players. They are now offering spare parts for Microsoft’s Xbox Series X and Series S consoles. Along with these parts, iFixit provides step-by-step repair guides on its website to help users fix their devices at home. This move supports their mission to make repairs easier and reduce electronic waste.

The partnership includes spare parts for both the disc and digital-only versions of the Xbox Series consoles. Players can find everything from major parts like the motherboard and power supply to smaller items such as rubber feet and Wi-Fi modules. Xbox controllers are not left out either, as a variety of replacement parts for them are also available. The company even offers two types of joystick replacements: the standard Microsoft ones and an upgraded version from Gulikit, designed to avoid common problems like joystick drift.
This isn’t the first time iFixit has teamed up with Microsoft. Last year, they started offering spare parts for Microsoft Surface devices. iFixit has also worked with other tech companies, including Valve for the Steam Deck. However, not all partnerships have gone smoothly. iFixit ended its deal with Samsung due to disagreements over repair policies. Despite past criticism of Microsoft products for being hard to repair, this new partnership shows progress toward making Xbox repairs more accessible.
With these new spare parts, Xbox owners now have more ways to keep their consoles running smoothly, saving money and reducing waste in the process.
