Last Christmas, game developer SimulaM revealed their brand new title ‘I Am Jesus Christ’. This year the team returns with some more news about this rather unique game.

To celebrate this Christmas season, there will be a brand new trailer, dropping December 17th, depicting the nativity, just one of the many key moments from Christ’s life that will be included in the final release of the game. Continuing the Christmas theme, people can Wishlist the game on Steam as well.

The innovative retelling of the life of Christ has continued development since its announcement last year and is to launch on Kickstarter in 2021. This campaign will ensure that the development team has the funds needed to complete the project and so they can share the story of the New Testament through the medium of video games.

The Kickstarter campaign will go live in early 2021 but the pre-launch page will be available from Thursday so that those interested in supporting the project can sign up to receive notifications and updates. More information on stretch goals and rewards will follow as the campaign gears up for its 2021 launch.

Ambitious in scope and accurate in its level of detail, I am Jesus Christ will give players the chance to interact with a cast of over 60 Biblical characters and perform over 30 miracles including feeding the masses and curing the blind as they explore a huge open-world recreation of Ancient Israel.
