Hotel Barcelona is checking in this autumn, and it’s bringing buckets of blood with it. Publisher CULT Games and developer White Owls dropped a fresh Gamescom 2025 trailer for the 2.5D “slasher film parodic action” title, confirming the game’s release on 26 September.

You’ll step into the shoes of rookie U.S. Marshal Justine, who finds herself trapped in this slaughterhouse of nightmares. Her only edge is that the monster inside her mind, Dr. Carnival, is a split personality that brings devastating powers at a heavy cost. And when you die, your past self comes back as a ghostly ally in a twisted rogue-lite loop.
If that’s not enough, you won’t have to face the madness alone; up to four players can dive into co-op carnage together.
Hotel Barcelona launches 26 September for PlayStation 5, Xbox, and PC via Steam and Microsoft Store.
