Nacon and Rogue Factor have shared the story trailer for Hell Is Us, giving us a look at the game’s dark world. Alongside it, a free 16-page digital prequel comic has been released on the Nacon website, covering events just before the game begins.

The game is set in Hadea, a fictional country cut off from the world and ravaged by a deadly civil war. You will take on the role of Remi, who was born in Hadea but smuggled out as a child. Returning as a peacekeeper, Remi’s mission becomes personal as he searches for the secrets of his past and why his parents abandoned him.
Adding to the chaos is a mysterious phenomenon called “the Calamity,” which spawns strange creatures resembling ancient monuments and headstones. These creatures will challenge you throughout Remi’s journey.
Hell Is Us is set to release on PlayStation 5, Xbox, and PC via Steam on September 4. You can now dive into the trailer and prequel comic to get a head start on Hadea’s story.
