Hell is Us demo brings its brutal adventure to PS5 and Xbox this August

Hell is Us is bringing its brutal world to consoles. Nacon and Rogue Factor have announced that a demo will launch for PlayStation 5 and Xbox on August 12. Console players will finally get a taste of this no-handholding action RPG.

The demo originally went live on PC back in June. It was available from June 2 to June 24 before being pulled offline. Now, it’s making a comeback for console gamers.

The full game is set to release on September 4 for PlayStation 5, Xbox, and PC via Steam. Check out the extended gameplay below;

No maps. No quest markers. Just you and the unknown.

The game doesn’t care if you get lost. There are no maps. No objective markers. No quest logs. You’re on your own. Every discovery relies on your instinct and curiosity.

The world is in chaos. A civil war is tearing the nation apart. But that’s just the surface. A strange calamity has unleashed supernatural horrors called chimeras. Bullets don’t work on them. Only your sword and drone can cut them down. You’ll wield swords, spears, and axes as your weapons.

The game’s story digs deep into human nature. The central theme, as explained by creative director Jacques-Belletête, is that “history always repeats itself.”

Hell is Us doesn’t shy away from mature themes. You should expect graphic violence, strong language, and even nudity as part of its grim storytelling.
